The Victim Advisory Centre Schwyz and Uri is an independent specialist agency that provides advice to victims of violence on behalf of the cantons of Schwyz and Uri. We are committed with dedication and expertise to supporting people affected by criminal offences. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an employee in Secretariat and Intake (80%) from January 2027 or by arrangement.
Tasks
The scope of duties includes the initial contact with clients and professionals – in person, by telephone and by e-mail – appointment scheduling, as well as the opening, maintenance and closing of case files.
Another part of the duties includes the careful handling of accounting, including the posting, checking and further processing of relevant financial documents.
In addition, you will take on general secretarial and administrative tasks such as mail, e-mail and data management, organisational support for the team and management, as well as office organisation including materials management and infrastructure care.
Qualifications
- A commercial basic education or comparable qualification
- Ideally several years of professional experience in the social sector
- Confident oral and written German skills
- Solid computer skills (especially Office applications)
- Independent, structured way of working
- High social competence, empathetic and respectful manner
- Resilience and calm handling of difficult situations
- Foreign language skills are an advantage
