How you can contribute
- Initiate Air Force projects in the areas of airspace surveillance and air sovereignty, bring them to a successful conclusion and support their use
- Formulate user needs for our system landscape, implement concepts as well as realise new requirements and changes
- Develop military basic documents and concepts
- Handle operational and technical matters
- Represent the Air Force in project and system committees, at the manufacturer company as well as in national and international committees.
What makes you unique
- Technical/university degree with 2 - 3 years of functionally relevant experience in the field of information and communication technology (ICT)
- Methodological knowledge in business analysis, requirements engineering, project management (e.g. HERMES) as well as basics in safety management according to aviation-specific standards
- Open personality as well as enjoyment of teamwork and problem solving
- Active knowledge of two official languages, passive knowledge of a third official language as well as very good English skills
- Swiss citizen; Air Force officer desired

The Operations Command (Kdo Op) is responsible for all military operations and missions of the Swiss Army. The Kdo Op includes, among others, the Air Force, the Army, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT competence centre, the Special Forces Command as well as the Military Police. Around 40% of the approximately 2,500 employees are civilian – from engineers to aircraft mechanics to analysts.
The Swiss Army employs over 9,000 people in four military and around 200 civilian professions – and this at 110 locations throughout Switzerland. The next generation is also taken care of: The Swiss Army trains apprentices in over 30 professions.
