Role:
Do you want to design complex IT environments, advance cloud technologies and operate modern infrastructure reliably? In this position, you combine enterprise-level engineering with innovative cloud concepts and powerful network solutions. Here you can apply your technical know-how, implement demanding projects and actively shape the next generation of a secure IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Design, operation and further development of modern IT infrastructures with a focus on Microsoft Azure and hybrid system architectures
Building and optimisation of virtualised server environments as well as central infrastructure platforms
Implementation and management of Azure services, virtual networks and secure cloud connections
Administration of Windows server systems and, if necessary, Linux-based platforms
Planning and implementation of network architectures, routing, switching and firewall concepts
Integration of local IT systems with cloud services and cross-site infrastructures
Automation of recurring tasks with PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code
Monitoring availability, performance and security through modern monitoring
Analysis of complex faults and sustainable resolution of technical causes
Participation in cloud migrations, infrastructure projects and technological modernisations
Qualifications:
Completed training in IT EFZ, system technology or a comparable technical qualification
Professional experience in system engineering and operation of complex IT infrastructures
Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments
Solid experience with virtualisation technologies such as VMware vSphere or Hyper-V
Sound knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, routing, switching and firewall technologies
Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and Entra ID
Knowledge of PowerShell, Azure Automation or Infrastructure as Code is an advantage
Understanding of IT security, backup concepts, high availability and disaster recovery
Analytical thinking and a structured, independent working style
Enjoyment of technical challenges and continuous further training
