Project planning and implementation: Development of comprehensive project planning, including schedules, budgets and resource requirements. Coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and reliable project execution according to the agreed scope.
Stakeholder management: Main contact person for stakeholders, including relationship managers, competence centres such as Legal, Compliance, Investment Advisory, IT as well as senior management. Promoting effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders to manage expectations as well as functional and non-functional requirements.
Risk and issue management: Identification of potential operational and project-related risks and issues that could affect project execution or operational business. Development of appropriate measures to minimise risks, active management of issues and timely handling to minimise project interruptions and operational risks.
Monitoring and reporting: Tracking the progress of the initiative based on milestones and deliverables. Regular status updates and detailed reports to stakeholders, highlighting key successes, risks and issues.
Process optimisation: Analysis and optimisation of existing processes to support LGT’s strategic goals.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT or a related field. A master’s degree is an advantage. Relevant certifications in project management methods are a plus.
Professional experience: Several years of experience in project management within the financial services industry or a related field. Proven experience in managing projects of varying size and complexity – from initiation to successful completion. Experience with agile methods and/or in process optimisation projects is advantageous.
Track record: Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and priorities. Documented successes in delivering projects on time within defined scope and budget. High sense of responsibility for the quality of results, strong problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, perseverance and consistency in pursuing project or initiative goals. Strong skills in stakeholder management and communication.
Technical skills: Confident handling of project management tools and methods. Knowledge of project management software such as Microsoft Project or JIRA is advantageous. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies. Experience in Lean Management and/or agile methods is a plus.
Language skills: Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
