ABACUS Application Consultant (m/f/d)
Our partner is an owner-managed IT service company and has been successful for over 25 years with the full spectrum of IT solutions. Tailored to public administrations, energy suppliers and SMEs in the service sector, our partner employs around 100 staff and impresses with excellent industry and technology know-how.
Role:
For a versatile IT environment, a committed individual is sought to support customers in the technical maintenance and further development of ABACUS solutions. The position combines application support, IT support and digitalisation projects with direct customer contact.
You will work at the interface between business applications and IT infrastructure and accompany customers from technical setup to ongoing support. Even those with initial ABACUS knowledge will have the opportunity to expand their expertise purposefully.
Responsibilities:
Installation, configuration and support of ABACUS business software at customers
Administration and maintenance of users and permissions within the ABACUS environment
Technical support for infrastructure topics such as network, firewall and reverse proxy
Support of digitalisation projects with solutions like AbaScan Pro and DeepBox
Handling support requests at 1st, 2nd and 3rd level
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
Qualifications:
Completed training in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification
Basic knowledge of Windows Server, networks and IT infrastructures
Initial experience with ABACUS ERP or strong interest in learning the platform
Enjoyment of direct customer contact and clear communication of technical topics
Independent, eager to learn and solution-oriented working style
Good communication skills and confident German
