System Engineer Microsoft Hybrid Cloud (m/f/d)

Role:
As a System Engineer Microsoft Hybrid Cloud, you look after a fixed group of SME clients and know their environments, people, and projects. Technical consulting and independent project work go hand in hand here. From migration to Microsoft 365 (M365) through hybrid scenarios in Azure to security hardening, you implement it yourself. You work closely with architects as well as the engineering and service teams.
Responsibilities:
You manage a manageable customer base of small and medium-sized enterprises as the technical contact person.
You plan and implement projects independently, such as migrations from on-premises to the cloud, hybrid setups, and modern workplace initiatives.
Furthermore, you advise on an equal footing and explain technical contexts so that users can follow.
You take over escalations from the operations team and resolve issues that cannot be handled at the 2nd level.
In addition, you continuously increase the security level of the managed environments.
You also work closely with architects as well as the engineering and operations teams.
Qualifications:
You bring several years of experience as a system engineer in the Microsoft environment and have implemented projects yourself.
Solid knowledge in Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and the classic Windows server world distinguishes you, including Active Directory, group policies, and terminal services.
You are familiar with cloud scenarios involving IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid connections.
Additionally, you have experience with Hyper-V as well as backup and replication concepts.
Network basics such as firewall, VPN, and WLAN are familiar to you.
You also enjoy direct customer contact, communicate confidently in German, and handle English technical documentation well. Microsoft certifications or experience in the service provider environment are a plus.
