The City and Regional Library Uster is an open, customer- and family-friendly library. We want to maintain and strengthen this good reputation. We see ourselves as a Third Place and organise numerous mediation offers for children and adults.
The City and Regional Library Uster aims to further develop into a place for learning, information, and leisure and is looking for a person for public relations and events starting 1 November 2026 or by arrangement.
In this versatile role, you will be responsible for planning and implementing events as well as the library's public relations and marketing. Together with the team, you will further develop the library as a lively meeting place and ensure high visibility in the public eye.

Your main tasks
- Events: concept, detailed planning, public relations, implementation, evaluation
- Public relations: website, newsletter, press work, social media, video, posters, customer information
- Marketing: customer acquisition, user retention, sponsorship
- Projects: collaboration
- Loans: counter service
Your profile
- Professional experience in public relations, marketing and/or event organisation as well as relevant training or further education
- Interest in libraries, media and cultural offerings
- Creative, proactive and organised personality with an independent and efficient working style
- Enjoy working in a team, interacting with diverse stakeholders and public speaking
- Willingness to work in the loan service as well as occasional evening and weekend shifts
