Role:
You want to operate server platforms not only but also make them smarter, safer and more automated? This role is aimed at IT specialists who combine deep infrastructure knowledge with modern engineering approaches and drive the path towards standardised, reproducible system landscapes.
Responsibilities:
Development and operation of standardised server platforms for different workloads
Building automated deployment and configuration processes with PowerShell, Ansible or Terraform
Further development of virtualised environments and modern platform architectures
Establishment of infrastructure-as-code principles and reusable configuration standards
Optimisation of system availability, resource consumption and performance
Integration of monitoring, logging and security solutions into platform operations
Implementation of zero-trust principles, system hardening and consistent patch management
Technical support for migrations, platform upgrades and modernisation projects
Creation of technical documentation and sustainable operational standards
Qualifications:
Solid professional experience in server administration or infrastructure engineering
In-depth knowledge of Windows Server, Linux or both platforms
Experience with virtualisation and central infrastructure services
Interest in automation, infrastructure as code and reproducible deployments
Knowledge of scripting languages and structured management of system configurations
Understanding of IT security, backup strategies and highly available architectures
Enjoy critically questioning technical processes and improving them sustainably
