Brief & Concise
- Completed training in hospitality or comparable qualification
- Proven experience in luxury hospitality, necessarily in a 5-star (superior) hotel
- At least 4 years of professional experience in upscale hospitality, including at least 1 year as a Reservations Supervisor or in a comparable operational leadership position in the reservations area
- Excellent knowledge of English as well as at least German or French; additional languages are a plus
- Very confident handling of PMS systems such as Protel and MS Office
- Confident, discreet, and empathetic communication at the highest level
- Strong service mentality, professionalism, and personal commitment to perfection
- Resilience, flexibility, and independent working – even during high guest volumes
- Well-groomed appearance, team spirit, and loyalty to our values
Main Responsibilities
- Ensuring an outstanding guest experience and embodying our values
- Leading the reservation team including prioritisation and professional guidance
- Competent handling of all reservation enquiries via telephone, email, and online channels (individual bookings, groups, corporate), including advice on room categories and additional services
- Creating, adjusting, and cancelling bookings as well as following up on open options
- Quality control of bookings, maintaining all relevant data in the PMS (Protel), and supporting statistical evaluations
- Active communication and coordination with Front Office and Housekeeping to ensure smooth operations
- Responsibility for rate management, availability control, and release strategies
- Training and onboarding new team members as well as ongoing support in on-the-job training for existing colleagues
- Handling guest enquiries, issues, and complaints at the operational level, proactive problem-solving, and forwarding serious cases to supervisors
- Ensuring compliance with all internal standards and data protection policies in daily business
