IT System Specialist (m/f/d)

Administration of Windows and Linux systems including web servers, mail servers, DNS and databases, combined with operation of virtualised environments via VMware and Proxmox
Network management and infrastructure support of switches, routers, firewalls and load balancers (Juniper, Cisco) as well as management of storage solutions with Ceph and ZFS for high availability
IT security and firewall administration with pfSense, OPNsense and FortiGate as well as management of Microsoft 365 platforms (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune)
Automation of IT processes through scripting and programming with Bash, Python and PowerShell
Technical support, fault analysis and performance optimisation to ensure stable IT operations
Qualifications:
Completed computer science degree or equivalent practical experience in the IT field
Comprehensive knowledge of network technologies such as Junos OS and Cisco IOS as well as experience in administration of Windows and Linux servers
In-depth know-how in storage solutions such as Ceph and ZFS with a focus on high availability
Experience with virtualisation platforms (VMware, Proxmox) and hosting technologies such as DNS, mail servers and load balancers
Experience in firewall and security management with pfSense, OPNsense and Fortinet FortiGate
Very good German and English skills, spoken and written, combined with teamwork, resilience and reliable work even under pressure
