About the job

To strengthen our team, we are looking for, for immediate or agreed start, a:

PROJECT MANAGER CONSTRUCTION AND RENOVATION – 60%

Workplace: Lausanne, with presence in Zurich two days per week. Depending on your preference, the main workplace can also be Zurich.

Your tasks

You currently oversee two construction projects in Lausanne and one project in Zurich.

Management of architectural projects

• Develop architectural renovation and transformation projects.
• Assume hierarchical responsibility for one employee.
• Obtain building permits and authorisations to start work.
• Supervise, lead and coordinate construction projects.
• Keep plans of the existing buildings, architectural plans and project data up to date.
• Assume budget responsibility and financial control of projects, including management of additional costs.
• Regularly report on project progress to the CEO/president and project teams.

Your profile

Education

• Initial technical training in construction, industry, mechanics or a comparable field.
• Degree in business management at ES, HES, MBA or EMBA level, or an engineering degree.
• Project management qualification.

Knowledge and experience

• Experience in project management and solid theoretical and practical knowledge in construction and project management.
• Practical experience with medium to large-scale construction and real estate projects, representing budgets of CHF 10 to 15 million.

Languages

• Fluency in German, French and English is essential, enabling negotiations in these three languages.

Technical skills and software

• Knowledge of CAD software such as ArchiCAD and AutoCAD, as well as BIM.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Business Central is an advantage.
