Business Analyst/Financial Data Engineer
The SNB is introducing a security-by-security survey. In the securities data team, you will assist in designing the survey as well as developing data pipelines and data analyses, and later work in operations.
- Creation of the data model for granular securities data as well as definition of the associated professional data transformation rules (enrichments, reconciliation, aggregations, etc.);
- Design and implementation of data processes for processing and quality control of the collected data in close cooperation with internal specialist departments;
- Design and creation of dashboards and reports for visualising and analysing the collected data.
- University degree (Master's) in Business Informatics, Economics (with a quantitative focus), Financial Mathematics or a comparable course of study;
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience;
- Good understanding of financial instruments, especially securities and their data structures;
- Several years of work experience in the data field, including relational data models, data architecture and data analysis;
- Very good programming skills in Python or R, ideally knowledge of Spark / SQL;
- Work experience in interdisciplinary projects;
- Teamwork skills, reliability and a high degree of independence;
- Very good German as well as good English or French skills.
