Your area of responsibility
The role of Product Owner for our global Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform is responsible within one or more Agile teams for the continuous assessment of ROI and the professional prioritisation of backlogs. As the interface between business and development, the function ensures that the Agile Release Train (ART) works across teams on initiatives with the highest business value. Tasks include defining and further developing the vision and roadmap for our CLM product, specifying requirements, acting as the central contact point for stakeholders, and aligning products with the corporate strategy. Close exchange with stakeholders and the promotion of agile values and principles are central. Collaboration is close with Scrum Masters/RTEs, architects, and agile teams.
* Vision and strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision in line with corporate strategy. Regularly update the vision based on feedback and changing market conditions. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements, risks, opportunities, and trends, as well as to design seamless end-to-end processes.
* Backlog management and value maximisation: Build, prioritise, and maintain the product backlog or ART backlog. Clearly formulate and prioritise initiatives, epics, and user stories. Set priorities based on business value, corporate goals, and technical feasibility. Responsible for the product roadmap and release planning as well as optimising implementation and operation through sprints or program increments (PI).
* Stakeholder management: Gather and manage requirements from all relevant stakeholders. Actively manage issues, risks, and dependencies to ensure smooth implementation. Shape collaboration and feedback loops between business, stakeholders, development, and quality assurance to ensure sustainable value delivery. Promote consistent customer orientation.
* Release management and continuous improvement: Coordinate releases and approvals and share responsibility for compliance with the definition of ready and definition of done. Responsible for market launch and communication of releases. Analyse KPIs, customer feedback, and market data for continuous product development. Promote and embody agile principles, continuous learning, and innovation.
* Methodical leadership: Use agile tools to create transparency as well as for planning and documentation. Prepare and actively participate in backlog refinements and workshops.
Your profile
* Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field. A basic certification in SAFe, Scrum, or another recognised agile methodology is an advantage.
* Professional experience: Several years of experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable role, ideally in an agile environment. Profound understanding of the product users and their needs, complemented by domain experience and knowledge of user journeys. Several years of experience in private banking is required.
* Track record: Proven ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and priorities. Demonstrated success in defining, developing, and implementing (digital) products or services. Experience in stakeholder management, requirements engineering, prioritisation, and representing business value.
* Technical skills: Very good knowledge of agile tools and methods. Familiarity with project management software and related tools. Ability to quickly familiarise oneself with new technologies and software applications and adapt to them.
* Willingness to travel: Willingness to travel, mainly within Europe and occasionally worldwide.
