As a System Engineer Modern Workplace, you design modern workplace solutions in virtualised and multicloud environments. You build platforms, further develop them, and contribute your own ideas to new product standards. It becomes exciting where customer requirements and technology come together. You can expect a technically demanding environment with plenty of scope for creativity.
Responsibilities:
You build virtual desktop environments, maintain them, and continuously develop them.
You implement cloud projects technically and accompany them until stable operation.
Furthermore, you develop new product standards based on concrete customer requirements.
You provide technical support to project managers in IT projects.
Additionally, you provide 3rd level support including fault analysis for complex issues.
You also document system architectures and share your knowledge within the team.
Qualifications:
You have training or further education in computer science or comparable practical experience.
Experience with cloud desktop technologies and common virtualisation and backup solutions distinguishes you.
Very good knowledge of Windows Server and Windows client operating systems is part of your toolkit.
You are familiar with Active Directory and group policies in detail.
Furthermore, you are confident in Microsoft 365 (M365) and multicloud environments.
You work in a structured and analytical manner, communicate fluently in German, and are proficient in English.
