IT Workplace Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
Modern IT begins where technology works seamlessly and people can work productively. We are looking for a technically skilled individual who combines cloud technologies, client management, and IT security, actively develops the digital workplace, and efficiently resolves demanding support issues.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring a high-performance IT workplace for around 300 employees – remote and on-site
Development and maintenance of the Microsoft 365 environment with Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint
Management of user identities, permissions, and device lifecycles including automated onboarding and offboarding processes
Operation and optimisation of Windows and macOS clients as well as maintenance of hardware, software, and licence inventory
Analysis and resolution of technical faults across the entire workplace area
Administration and integration of business applications from CRM, HR, and communication areas
Coordination of hardware procurement, software deployment, and external IT service providers
Support of local IT infrastructure with network, WLAN, printing solutions, and modern meeting room technology
Participation in cloud migrations, tool introductions, and continuous automation of recurring IT processes
Implementation of security standards such as multi-factor authentication, conditional access, and regular permission reviews
Documentation of technical solutions and active knowledge sharing within the IT team
Qualifications:
Completed IT training or a comparable qualification with solid practical experience
Several years of experience in IT support, workplace engineering, or system administration
Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Intune
Practical experience with Windows and macOS environments in a corporate context
Solid understanding of network technologies, client management, and IT service processes
Experience with ticketing systems, structured fault analysis, and technical documentation
Interest in IT security, cloud services, and automation of administrative processes
Independent, solution-oriented working style and enjoyment of collaboration with diverse stakeholders
