Business Information Systems Specialist / Application Analyst EPIC Cupid and Radiant (a)

The Insel Group aims to take a pioneering role in digital medicine: With the system from the American software manufacturer Epic, the Insel Group operates a new, fully integrated clinical information system that digitally connects all locations, professional groups, and clinics of the Insel Group. We are looking for reinforcement for our team to support and further develop the Epic modules Cupid and Radiant.

What to expect

• You are responsible for the further development and operation of the Epic modules Cupid and Radiant (specialties cardiology, angiology, radiology, and endoscopy)
• You capture and analyse the requirements of doctors, nursing staff, and other professional groups and implement sustainable solutions from them
• You test changes and releases and introduce them in coordination with the specialist departments
• You work closely with teams from the specialist departments and other areas of the Directorate for Technology and Innovation
• You analyse and handle disruptions, support users in dealing with Epic, and contribute to reliable application operation

What you bring

• You have a higher completed education or degree in computer science, medical informatics, or business informatics, or equivalent practical experience with appropriate further training
• You have a good technical understanding and are ready to quickly familiarise yourself with system logics, data structures, and configurations
• You have an independent working style and are motivated to obtain the necessary Epic certifications as soon as possible
• You bring experience in connecting modalities (interfaces) and working with exchange formats (DICOM, HL7, FHIR)
• Experience in requirements engineering is an advantage
• You communicate confidently in German and English
