Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional for client representation and project management of real estate projects with a focus on residential construction. You will manage new build and renovation projects on the owner’s side from project definition and planning to turnkey handover. In doing so, you consistently represent the client’s interests and are responsible for the overall management of costs, deadlines, and quality. Additionally, you assess existing properties, further develop their potential, and create sound decision-making bases for future investments.
Responsibilities:
Taking over client-side project management from project initiation and planning to acceptance and turnkey handover
Independent management of new build, renovation, and refurbishment projects with a focus on residential properties
Consistent representation of owner and client interests towards planners, contractors, authorities, and other project participants
Overall management and monitoring of project goals regarding costs, deadlines, quality, and project risks
Selection, commissioning, and leadership of architectural and planning offices, specialist planners, general and total contractors
Development of project definitions, feasibility studies, condition and potential analyses for existing properties
Preparation of decision-making bases, investment proposals, cost estimates, and variant comparisons for ownership entities
Conducting continuous project controlling including budget monitoring, forecasts, and reporting
Review of cost estimates, awards, change orders, and project modifications regarding economic efficiency and impact on project goals
Coordination of approval procedures and liaison with municipalities, authorities, and other specialist offices
Assessment of projects regarding sustainability, lifecycle costs, energy efficiency, and long-term value retention
Support of acceptances, handovers, and project completions including ensuring complete project documentation
Qualifications:
Higher education in architecture or civil engineering ETH/FH, certified technician HF or comparable construction-technical qualification
Several years of professional experience in project management of building and real estate projects in the Swiss market
Experience in client representation, preferably in residential construction, renovation, and new build projects
Sound knowledge of cost, schedule, quality, and project management as well as relevant SIA phases
Experience with project controlling, investment planning, awarding contracts, and contract management
Further training or expertise in sustainable construction and real estate development is an advantage
Very good German language skills spoken and written
