As a Kubernetes Engineer, you will bring demanding large-scale projects to completion together with a well-coordinated DevOps team. Container platforms such as Kubernetes, modern microservices, and clean automation shape your daily routine. Simple, high-quality solutions are required rather than quick fixes. Those who enjoy delving into new specialist areas will find plenty of scope for creativity here.
Responsibilities:
You develop and operate containerised applications based on Docker and container platforms
You automate build and deployment processes along the CI/CD pipelines
Furthermore, you maintain microservices architectures and ensure their stability in operation
You work closely with development and operations and actively contribute to technical decisions
This also includes monitoring the platform, including analysing and resolving issues
Additionally, you take responsibility for quality, documentation, and ongoing improvements
Qualifications:
You have a (technical) university degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
You have several years of experience with Kubernetes or comparable container platforms, including configuration
Java, Spring Boot, and microservices are more than just buzzwords to you
Furthermore, you are familiar with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ at least at a basic level
You work confidently with tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, Jira, and Confluence; interest in Ansible and Python rounds off your profile
Moreover, you communicate confidently in German and manage well in an English-speaking environment
