As Head of Data Governance, you lead our Data Governance team and are responsible for Data Governance, Data Quality Management, and Data Operations in Asset Management. Together, you create the foundation for high-quality data, regulatory compliance, and the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence. With your expertise, you connect business, technology, risk, and compliance and drive the further development of our Data & AI capabilities.

What you achieve

• Further development and implementation of the Data Governance framework as well as the associated roles, standards, and processes
• Responsibility for Data Ownership, Data Stewardship, Data Catalogue, Business Glossary, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage
• Management of Master Data Management and external data providers with a focus on data quality, service levels, and governance
• Responsibility for Data Quality Management as well as stable and efficient Data & Reporting Operations
• Implementation of group-wide Data & AI Governance regulations and ensuring regulatory requirements
• Promotion of standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement
• Consulting and coaching of Data Owners, Data Stewards, management, and other stakeholders
• Active participation in transformation and digitalisation initiatives as well as close collaboration with business, risk, compliance, operations, and IT

What you bring

• University degree in business, finance, data management, computer science, or comparable education
• Several years of experience in data governance, data management, data quality, or related fields
• Several years of leadership experience and enjoyment in developing teams
• Experience with governance and control frameworks as well as regulatory requirements in the financial services or asset management environment
• Good understanding of modern data platforms as well as data-driven business and reporting processes
• Experience in implementing and operating master data systems (e.g. SimCorp DMS, Neoxam) and in connecting market data (e.g. Bloomberg, Refinitiv, SIX, MSCI etc.)
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and communication skills as well as strong stakeholder management
• High initiative, implementation orientation, and enthusiasm for change
• Very good German and English skills, French is an advantage
