How you can contribute

• Further develop the emissions inventory for air pollutant and greenhouse gas emissions and assist in compiling data submissions for international organisations
• Participate in developing, testing and implementing new inventory software
• Collect, calculate and model data from various emission sources
• Develop routines for creating emission registers for Switzerland
• Support other projects in the Air Pollution Control and Chemicals department

What makes you unique

• University degree in natural sciences, computer science or engineering
• Good knowledge of programming with Python or a similar programming language as well as conducting software acceptance tests
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, systems thinking and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary projects
• Motivated, proactive and service-oriented personality with a strong interest in working in public administration
• Good active knowledge of at least one second official language and English
