Your Job

• You contribute your expertise from financial accounting to versatile business software projects
• Analysis and optimisation of financial processes around general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payment transactions, VAT, asset accounting as well as monthly and annual financial statements
• Gathering requirements, questioning workflows and translating professional needs into clear implementation steps
• Supporting companies in optimising and digitising their financial processes
• Moderating workshops, structuring complex issues and developing understandable results
• Working at the interface between finance, business analysis, ERP software and project implementation
• You accompany projects from the initial analysis through to conception and introduction
• Depending on experience, you grow into project management or already take independent responsibility in subprojects and projects

Additionally

• You ensure a clear flow of information in the project and keep all parties transparently informed
• Targeted use of your process knowledge in finance and accounting to create professionally sound and practical solutions
• Support in testing new functions, checking results and ensuring high implementation quality
• Pragmatic problem-solving for issues related to financial processes, ERP functions & business software
• Traceable documentation of requirements, decisions & implementation steps
• Support in training, workshops and clear explanation of ERP functions
• Recognising recurring questions or process problems and deriving meaningful improvements from them
• Active participation in standards, templates and best practices that make projects more efficient and understandable
• Continuous expansion of your know-how in business software, finance and project work

Your Profile

• Completed further education or degree in business administration, business informatics, finance and accounting or a comparable field
• Professional experience in finance and accounting, controlling, fiduciary or in a comparable finance function
• Good understanding of financial processes, accounting procedures and business management contexts from practice
• Enjoy questioning, structuring and further developing processes with digital solutions
• Strong affinity for ERP systems, business software and digitisation
• Ideally first experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft Dynamics NAV or a comparable ERP solution
• Experience in business analysis or project management is an advantage, but interest, process understanding and willingness to engage with these topics are more important
• Ability to capture professional requirements, logically classify them and communicate them clearly
• Enjoy working at the interface between finance, software, users and project & development teams
• Experience as a key user, project team member, ERP user or super user is an additional plus
