Integration Architect - Financial Services (m/f/d)

You will shape the technological advancement of complex payment platforms and translate demanding business requirements into secure, scalable IT architectures. Together with engineering, product, and architecture teams, you will drive the modernisation of business-critical systems.
Responsibilities:
Further development and modernisation of existing payment platforms and distributed systems
Definition of integration strategies, API architectures, and event-driven designs
Cross-architecture integration of payment, risk, and fraud detection solutions
Embedding zero-trust principles and security standards
Co-design of enterprise architecture governance and technical documentation
Qualifications:
University degree in computer science or comparable qualification
Several years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture
Profound knowledge in microservices, DDD, REST, OpenAPI, gRPC, and Kafka
Experience with Azure, GCP or AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
Know-how in payment processing, distributed systems, and IT security
Very good German and English skills; Italian is an advantage
