Pro Senectute is the service and competence centre for older people in the canton of Bern.
Pro Senectute Canton Bern is looking for a Specialist Responsible for the Fiduciary Service Offering (Income and Pension Administration) 80 - 100 % for the Bern-Steinhölzli location from 01.01.2027 or by arrangement.
Specialist Responsible for the Fiduciary Service Offering (Income and Pension Administration) 80 - 100 %
You will independently manage the income and pension administration of our clients in the canton of Bern, thereby making a valuable contribution to the daily lives of older people.
Your tasks
- Creating the service agreement and initial assessment (budget)
- Managing the accounting and payment transactions
- Reviewing, asserting and securing subsidiary benefit claims (health insurance, supplementary benefits, housing allowances, care credits, etc.)
- Ensuring the budget
- Clarifications with various authorities, institutions, insurance companies, etc.
- Handling all administrative tasks related to finances
- Compiling tax documents and reviewing tax returns
- Supporting the expansion of the fiduciary service in the canton of Bern
Your profile
- Completed commercial apprenticeship with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ)
- Professional experience in social insurance and taxation
- Solid knowledge in health insurance and supplementary benefits
- Very good knowledge of MS Office programmes and Abacus
- Independent working style, team orientation, clear communication and the ability to set priorities
- Understanding and enjoyment in working with older people
- Driving licence for home visits
- French language skills are desirable
