Sales & Market Analyst (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
- Development, maintenance and optimisation of interactive Power BI reports and KPI dashboards including data modelling, DAX and Power Query
- Creation of business, sales, customer and campaign analyses as well as derivation of concrete recommendations for action for sales and customer marketing
- Responsibility for the quarterly incentive and target-setting process of the field sales team from target definition and stakeholder coordination to success measurement and performance management
- Identification of relevant target channels, customer segments and growth potentials
- Planning, support and evaluation of campaigns and activations including documentation of key learnings
- Measurement of the impact of brand visibility activities at the point of consumption according to relevant standards and priorities
- Conducting deep-dive analyses on assortment, product mix, distribution, customer development and sales performance
- Further development of launch trackers together with CMI as well as support in defining on-trade cycle targets
- Ensuring consistent and target group-appropriate reporting in close cooperation with sales, trade marketing, controlling, CRM and other stakeholders
- Ensuring high data quality through plausibility checks and a comprehensible KPI logic across various source systems
- Participation in cross-departmental analytics, digitalisation and process optimisation projects including support in rollouts, documentation and user training
- Translating complex business questions into understandable analyses and visualisations as well as promoting self-service analytics through clear standards and knowledge transfer
What You Bring
- A completed commercial or comparable education. Further training in business analysis, data analysis, statistics or business administration is an advantage.
- Several years of professional experience in data analysis, reporting or sales analytics, ideally in the FMCG environment.
- Very good knowledge of Power BI, especially in dashboard development, data modelling, Power Query and DAX, as well as confident handling of Excel and Microsoft 365.
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM or comparable ERP and CRM systems. Knowledge of SQL, data models, interfaces and data quality is a plus.
- Knowledge of dataflows, lakehouse or cloud concepts as well as an understanding of governance, permissions and documentation are advantageous.
- Very good German and good English skills. French and/or Italian skills are a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, a flair for numbers and the ability to recognise connections and business opportunities.
- An independent, structured and careful way of working, combined with initiative, willingness to learn and a high solution orientation.
- Strong communication skills, stakeholder orientation and enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration.
