Specialist Business Applications & Operations (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Linking business requirements with technological possibilities and operational priorities
• Advising internal stakeholders on technological and application-related issues
• Responsibility for the reliable operation, service quality and business continuity of the business applications
• Prioritising and coordinating service requests, optimisations and changes within the RUN portfolio
• Managing incident and problem management including root cause analyses and sustainable resolution of recurring issues
• Coordinating AMS partners, internal specialists and external providers
• Ensuring agreed service quality and promoting operational excellence
• Promoting continuous improvement of applications and services
• Contributing to the further development of application roadmaps
• Ensuring smooth handover of new solutions from BUILD to RUN operations
• Coordination and alignment of operational priorities, risks, resources and dependencies across various application areas

Your Profile

• Completed training or degree in information technology, computer science or a comparable field
• Very good German and English skills
• At least five years of professional experience in business applications and ERP systems
• Experience with application management services, service management and optimisation of operational processes
• Sound knowledge of ITIL processes and operational governance
• Experience in incident and problem management as well as sustainable service improvement
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to balance business priorities, operational risks and service quality
• Experience with agile working methods and project implementation
