Are you motivated by the idea of providing people with security and guidance in challenging claims cases? Would you like to independently handle complex property and liability claims and drive suitable solutions forward?

In this role, you are part of the Claims business unit in the Property & Liability Claims area at Zurich Switzerland. You take on the independent handling of complex property and liability claims and support our customers in challenging situations with clarity, security, and empathy. You clarify factual, coverage, and liability questions, calculate damages, and are a reliable contact person for all parties involved.

What to expect

• You support and assist people in claims cases by taking over the handling of difficult claims for them.
• You clarify open questions and are responsible for verbal and written enquiries from policyholders, claimants, lawyers, authorities, and insurance companies.
• You have control over the claims process, including clarifying factual, coverage, and liability questions as well as carrying out damage calculations.

What sets you apart

• Successfully completed commercial or equivalent training - ideally supplemented by a professional insurance certificate or a degree from a Higher Technical School for Insurance (HF).

• Several years of experience in claims handling.

• Enjoyment of IT and the ability to quickly and confidently familiarise yourself with new systems.
• Quick comprehension, precise working style, and strong self-organisation.
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form; additional language skills are a plus.
