IT System Engineer / IT Infrastructure (m/f/d, 100%)

Your area of responsibility

• Support and further development of the central IT infrastructure with server systems and virtualisation platforms
• Installation, configuration, monitoring and optimisation of the systems used
• Ensuring a stable, secure and available IT operation
• Technical support and integration of production machines into the existing IT infrastructure
• Implementation and monitoring of internal and external security requirements
• Building, implementing and further developing modern IT management systems
• Creation and maintenance of technical system documentation
• Participation in IT projects from technical requirements analysis to implementation
• Development of suitable technical solutions in collaboration with relevant internal contacts
• Continuous further development and optimisation of existing systems and processes

Your profile

• Completed training or degree in computer science, information technology or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the administration and support of IT infrastructures and IT services
• Sound knowledge in the field of virtualisation
• Very good understanding of system architectures and system integrations
• Interest in automation and continuous optimisation of IT processes
• Analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Independent, reliable and responsible personality
• Enjoyment in driving technical topics forward independently
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
