Cloud DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
Do you want to eliminate repetitive processes, optimise deployment procedures and operate modern cloud platforms efficiently? In this position, you combine cloud engineering with DevOps methods and infrastructure as code. You develop automated workflows, standardise technical processes and create the foundation for reliable, reproducible cloud deployments.
Responsibilities:
Development and optimisation of automated deployment processes for Microsoft Azure infrastructures
Creation of modular infrastructure templates with Terraform and Azure Bicep
Development and maintenance of PowerShell scripts for provisioning, configuration and maintenance
Implementation of CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
Integration of version control, code reviews and automated quality checks
Standardisation of deployment processes for development, test and production environments
Automation of infrastructure tests, configuration checks and technical validations
Integration of monitoring, logging and automated responses to operational events
Optimisation of cloud resources, scalability and operating costs according to FinOps principles
Further development of self-service approaches for the provision of standardised cloud resources
Collaboration with development, architecture and operations teams to improve deployment quality
Continuous improvement of automation, documentation and technical operational standards
Qualifications:
Experience in cloud engineering, DevOps engineering or IT infrastructure automation
Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure
Practical experience with Terraform and/or Azure Bicep
Solid knowledge of PowerShell and automation of technical processes
Experience with Git and CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
Understanding of network, compute, storage and identity components in Azure
Knowledge of infrastructure as code, modular deployment concepts and version control
Ideally experience with Docker, containers or Kubernetes
Independent working style, analytical thinking and enthusiasm for continuous optimisation
