About the job
The Kronbühl Foundation promotes, supports, and cares for children, adolescents, and adults with severe physical and intellectual disabilities. With our diverse offerings tailored to the individual needs of our clients and the high quality of our services, we are among the leading institutions in Eastern Switzerland. In our special day school, six children or adolescents are supported and cared for in one class by a special education team, taking into account their individual abilities. In addition to lessons, the students benefit from a wide range of therapy options. They spend their free time either at home or in our boarding school.
We are looking for a temporary replacement for one of these classes starting August 1, 2026, limited until January 31, 2027 for a
Teacher
(30% workload)
Tasks
- Teaching, support, and assistance for six students aged between 4 and 18 years
- Leading the class team (school assistant)
- Collaboration with parents and specialist agencies
- Interdisciplinary cooperation with staff from the boarding school, therapy, medical care, and central services
Profile
- Teaching diploma
- Additional special education training desired
- Experience in supporting children and adolescents with disabilities preferred
- Enjoyment of teamwork
