The Compensation Office of the Canton of Solothurn (AKSO) is a leader in implementing social security legislation in the Canton of Solothurn. It is responsible in particular for AHV, supplementary benefits, family allowances, maternity compensation, and premium reductions. It manages a financial volume of more than two billion Swiss francs.

HEAD OF CENTRAL SERVICES – MEMBER OF THE EXECUTIVE BOARD

Your Tasks

• In this role, you and your teams (around 40 employees) ensure the smooth, service-oriented handling of finance, HR, ICT and facility management.
• As a member of the executive board, you take a cross-departmental perspective, lead strategically important projects and represent them within the executive board.
• Your possible experience in the real estate sector is an advantage for projects related to our property.
• You demonstrate an affinity for ICT topics.
• You bear budget responsibility for the entire Compensation Office and are an important contact person for our partners at the federal and cantonal levels.
• You actively shape the ongoing change process, optimise workflows and develop management foundations for the entire AKSO.

Your Competences

• Assertive and strong in negotiation, communicative leadership personality who can contribute their experience as a project manager in complex projects.
• Several years of broad professional and leadership experience, ideally in a comparable cross-sectional function within public administration or the service sector.
• Experience in the social security sector is a plus but not mandatory.
• University degree (FH/Uni) in business administration, law or similar fields.
• Strong service and customer orientation as well as a high quality awareness.
• Good knowledge of French is an advantage.
