As part of a succession plan, we are looking for an experienced and technology-enthusiastic individual for the locations Brugg and Dürrenäsch as

In this role, you are responsible for software development for our global business division and lead the corresponding development organisation as part of our approximately 80-strong IT team.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Personnel and organisational management of the IT Development Global department with around 20 employees
• Further development of employees as well as the organisational and technical capabilities of the department
• Budget responsibility, cost control and vendor management for the IT Development Global area
• Overall content and technical responsibility for the development and operation of the software products and services of the division
• Ensuring a sustainable software architecture as well as contemporary development processes and quality standards
• Ensuring security, availability and resilience as well as appropriate backup, fallback and recovery concepts for the systems under responsibility
• Development, coordination and implementation of the product strategy and roadmap in collaboration with the business
• Close cooperation with the business-side Product Owners in prioritising and further developing the products
• Collaboration and division of tasks with other development departments as well as coordination with the CIO
• Cooperation with external partners for student projects

Your Qualifications

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification
• Several years of leadership experience with personnel responsibility in software development, ideally in an international environment
• Strong ability to develop employees and teams, delegate responsibility and promote constructive collaboration
• Broad technical understanding of modern enterprise software architectures and technologies, ideally with experience in Java, TypeScript, MongoDB, Kafka and Kubernetes
• Experience in AI-native software development as well as interest in further developing modern development processes
• High interest in understanding business processes, mapping them in the domain model and developing sustainable IT solutions from them
• Communicative and pragmatic personality with strong decision-making and implementation skills
• Team-oriented and practical leadership personality with enjoyment in collaboration across organisational boundaries
• Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working style
• Willingness to be regularly present at our locations in Brugg and Dürrenäsch
• Negotiation-level German and English skills
