Your Tasks:

As a lecturer in subject didactics and music science with a focus on rhythmics, you will teach at the Institute for Kindergarten/Lower Primary in the basic and main studies, both in the regular degree programme and in the lateral entry study variant. Your focus is on subject-scientific and subject-didactic teaching in music and rhythmics, and you will jointly design transversal modules with a focus on rhythmics together with the educational sciences. If interested, you may also teach in the professional practical studies at the Institute for Kindergarten/Lower Primary.

• You teach music in various study variants• You teach rhythmics in various study variants• You develop modules on transversal perspectives in cooperation with the educational sciences• You participate in the further development of teaching in the Kindergarten/Lower Primary degree programme• You may teach in the professional practical studies and/or in continuing education

Your Profile:

To fulfil the tasks, you have a relevant Master’s degree, experience teaching children at the target level, and are qualified in university didactics.
• Master’s in Music Education/-Didactics or Elementary Music Education (EMP) or Rhythmics (Music and Movement) • Proven expertise in musical learning and teaching and teaching experience in Cycle 1• Ability to combine subject-specific, developmental and transversal perspectives• Experience and qualification in university didactics or willingness to acquire such qualification• Interest in joint curriculum, teaching and quality development• Reflective, independent and team-oriented working style in interdisciplinary teams• Relevant doctoral degree (desired).
The employment extent of 40–60% depends on the specific profile of the applicants.
