Digital collaboration is evolving rapidly. As a Modern Workplace Architect, you combine cloud technology, security, collaboration, and user experience into a modern digital working environment. You take responsibility for demanding Microsoft 365 initiatives and shape their technical development.
Responsibilities:
Development of holistic architectures for modern digital workplace platforms
Design and further development of cloud-based Microsoft 365 solutions
Translation of business requirements into robust technical concepts
Planning and support of complex Microsoft 365 migrations
Development of target architectures for hybrid and cloud-native IT environments
Building scalable collaboration and communication platforms
Technical responsibility for Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and identity services
Integration of business applications and other cloud services into the Microsoft 365 landscape
Design of governance, security, and permission concepts
Establishment of modern identity and access strategies
Automation of provisioning, administration, and lifecycle processes
Technical support of adoption and transformation programmes
Support in the introduction of new Microsoft 365 features and cloud services
Evaluation of new technologies regarding architecture, security, benefits, and integration capability
Technical leadership of projects and coordination of interdisciplinary teams
Creation of architecture standards, technical guidelines, and decision templates
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in Microsoft 365, cloud architecture, modern workplace, or enterprise collaboration
Profound understanding of modern cloud and identity architectures
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity models
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online
Practical experience with Exchange Online and other Microsoft 365 services
Understanding of security, governance, compliance, and zero-trust concepts
Experience in designing and implementing complex cloud migrations
Knowledge of automation and API-based integrations
Ideally experience with Microsoft Intune, Defender, and endpoint management
Ability to communicate complex technical matters clearly and appropriately for the audience
Structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style
Enjoyment in evaluating new technologies and transforming them into viable solutions
