ICT Network / System & Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

  • Operation, further development, and design of our network and server infrastructure (Cisco, Aruba, Sophos)
  • Engineering of WAN/LAN/WLAN/VLAN structures, firewalls, DMZ, and VPN
  • Operation and expansion of the virtualised server environment (VMware)
  • Collaboration in IT security:
    • Implementation of security policies and technical designs
    • Support in awareness training and security concepts
    • Securing the infrastructure according to ISO/IATF/TISAX requirements (building an ISMS)
  • Working with modern security tools such as:
    • Vulnerability management (Tenable Nessus)
    • Endpoint security (SentinelOne)
    • OT/network security (Claroty xDome)
    • Certificate management (TLS) and implementation of proven encryption technologies (BitLocker, AES, SSL)

 

What you bring (not everything has to be perfect):

  • Training in computer science system technology/platform development EFZ or higher professional education (HF/FH)
  • Interest and solid basic understanding in network engineering
  • Ideally experience in production or industrial environments
  • Experience or strong motivation in IT security and network design

 

Knowledge in:

  • Cisco, Aruba, firewalling, VLAN, routing
  • Microsoft Server (Windows, Exchange, SQL, ADFS), preferably also Linux
  • Cloud services (Azure, Microsoft 365) an advantage
  • Experience with VoIP/PBX/UCC systems (e.g. Mitel) is a plus
  • Openness to working with and learning new security tools and technologies
