Junior IT Project Manager

About the Position

As an IT Project Coordinator, you will become the central interface between software development, project management, and customer contact, taking on the following tasks:

Your Responsibilities

• Maintain backend & databases: Collaborate on the backend as well as maintain SQL databases and cloud infrastructure.
• Coordinate customer projects: Independently manage IT projects from initial planning to successful implementation.
• Conduct workshops & presentations: Prepare technical content in an understandable way and present it to specialist audiences and customers.
• Provide B2B support: Competently advise and support financial institutions on technical questions regarding the software.
• Ensure end-user support: Respond to inquiries about the tax platform – flexibly, if necessary, also on weekends.

Requirements

Must-Haves:

• Degree in (business) computer science or completed IT training
• Basic knowledge of SQL databases
• German at native level and fluent English (C1)
• Strong communication skills, independence, and assertiveness
• Willingness to undergo a background check

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with cloud infrastructures (Azure) as well as .NET / Java
• First practical experience in IT project management or B2B customer support
• Experience in conducting workshops or presentations
• Interest in finance or experience in the financial sector is a big plus.
