What to expect
- Building and further developing the new Product Automation & Analytics division with the three core areas Product Discovery, Product Data and Product Creation
- Responsibility for the entire end-to-end process – from identifying new products to automated product creation – with the clear goal of scaling our range tenfold in the first step
- Developing a clear product strategy and roadmap that massively scales our assortment processes both quantitatively and qualitatively
- Identifying the most effective levers along the process chain and consistently managing their implementation
- You make our product processes measurable, controllable and scalable and accelerate the path from discovery to live
- Establishing analytics as a genuine decision-making and control tool rather than just a reporting function
- Driving the automation of our product processes, including the targeted use of AI and LLM solutions
- Technical and personnel leadership of initially two business owners as well as building a high-performing, results-oriented team
- Prioritisation and decision-making in the tension field between platform, categories, commercial and technology
- Close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders to ensure strategic initiatives are actually implemented
- Creating transparency about goals, progress, results and necessary decisions
What you bring
- Several years of professional experience, ideally around five to seven years, in a role with genuine end-to-end responsibility
- Proven leadership experience (both technical and personnel) and the ability to consistently focus teams on results rather than activity
- Solid knowledge of data-driven business models, preferably in e-commerce or a comparable digital environment
- Deep understanding of data processes, data quality, scaling and automation
- Experience in making analytics usable for operational and strategic decisions
- Practical knowledge in the use of AI or LLM solutions is a great plus
- Completed studies at bachelor’s or master’s level, ideally in business, business informatics, computer science or data & analytics – or an equivalent qualification through relevant professional experience
- Strong ability to prioritise complex topics, make clear decisions and consistently follow through
- Confidence in simultaneously dealing with business and IT – you think in solutions, not in responsibilities
- High willingness to shape, initiative and enjoyment in creating structures in a division still to be built
- Very good German and English skills for collaboration with different stakeholders
