About the job
Uster, the third largest city in the canton of Zurich, is a dynamically growing city in the Zurich metropolitan area with around 38,000 inhabitants and is known as an innovative regional centre.
Around 5,000 young children aged zero to four live in Uster. The Early Childhood Office is responsible for the Early Promotion concept of the city of Uster. One measure within the framework of the concept is the implementation of the pilot project "Outreach Family Work" from 2027 to 2029. The pilot project addresses one of the biggest challenges in early promotion: parents can be given access to support services very early and with low barriers. Children from vulnerable families can be identified and supported early.
To implement the project, we are looking for a specialist in outreach family work on a fixed-term basis for the duration of the pilot project. The most important success factor for the project is finding the "right" person. We are looking for someone who wants to implement the pilot project with great motivation and is prepared to commit to the three-year pilot period. The earliest possible start date is 1 January 2027.
