Your responsibilities

• Co-responsibility in the school management team for the design, development and quality of the entire Therwil Secondary School
• Strategic and operational school development
• Leadership responsibility, collaboration in the school management team
• Maintaining constructive relationships with pupils, parents, teachers and stakeholders
• Joint definition of the division of departments and tasks within the school management team

Your background

• Several years of professional experience as a lower secondary teacher, recognised pedagogical training
• Recognised school management training or willingness to complete this alongside work
• Willingness to work closely with the local community and regional authorities
• Strong communication skills, interest in structured and sustainable school development
• Teamwork skills, sense of responsibility, solution-oriented communication, good ICT knowledge
• Interest in an open, participative leadership culture

Therwil Secondary School

Therwil Secondary School is a school with around 500 pupils in regular and small classes, as well as about 60 teachers. Our teaching team is complemented by specialists for remedial and social pedagogical support. The partially autonomous school is led by a management team of three. A friendly school administration, our two competent caretakers and the school social work also contribute to a well-functioning school organisation. We offer you a varied and exciting role in a motivated team.
