The Vocational Training Centre Olten is the regional competence centre for basic and continuing vocational education and training and consists of the Commercial-Industrial, Commercial, and Health-Social Vocational Schools, the Höhen Nursing College, as well as the Adult Education Centre. For the GIBS Olten we are looking for a Deputy Teacher for the Subject General Education (ABU), 57-68% from 19.10.2026 or by arrangement, limited until 31.01.2027.
Your responsibilities
- You will teach our pupils for 15-18 lessons per week. Teaching days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
- You will collaborate with colleagues in the school subject group.
- You will provide appropriate support for whole-school development projects.
Your profile
- You have completed training as a teacher for General Education or are currently undergoing corresponding training.
- You enjoy working with young people in an educational environment.
- You are methodically and didactically skilled in using digital tools (BYOD classes) and want to actively advance the digital transformation of teaching. Initiative, team spirit and a sense of responsibility characterise you.
