Digital processes in the clinical environment help determine how smoothly everyday work runs for professionals. As an Application Manager for the Clinical Information System, you will independently manage a central clinical information system and further develop it together with a well-coordinated application team. You are the contact person for the specialist departments, translate requirements into viable solutions, and collaborate with external partners. This role offers plenty of scope for design and a direct connection to medical practice.
Responsibilities:
You manage the clinical specialist application and drive its further development
You develop requirement and process definitions together with the specialist departments and evaluate them professionally
You monitor and maintain the interfaces to adjacent systems
Furthermore, you plan and conduct training sessions and advise employees on application questions
Additionally, you participate in release, lifecycle, and change management including test concepts
You also contribute to the optimisation of internal IT operational processes and occasional on-call duties
Qualifications:
You have a qualification in computer science (HF/FH), a basic medical education with a strong IT affinity, or a comparable qualification
You have several years of experience with clinical information systems
You are familiar with application operations and have already supported projects
Standards such as HL7 and DICOM as well as interface integrations are known to you
Moreover, you have already parameterised applications yourself
You work in a structured and solution-oriented manner, are a team player, and keep an overview even in complex projects
