Your Challenge
- Professional and strategic leadership of the Young Talents unit (commercial and IT apprenticeships, Graduate Programme)
- Overall responsibility for our Graduate Programme: design, implementation and continuous development
- Close collaboration with line managers to design practical assignments, to build future core competencies in a targeted manner, and to implement educational objectives
- Individual support and coaching of graduates as an independent talent group – focusing on performance, cultural integration, and development into a target role
- Support of apprentices throughout the entire training cycle (onboarding to transition into permanent employment) including feedback and performance discussions as well as preparation of educational reports
- Overall coordination and central point of contact for all key stakeholders – apprentices, graduates, practical trainers, parents, authorities and educational institutions
- Recruitment of apprentices and graduates as well as proactive employer branding (fairs, events, social media)
- Planning, execution and moderation of events and workshops (e.g. training modules, taster days and apprentice camps)
- Budget responsibility for the Young Talents department
- Representation of the bank in external committees (e.g. banking association, youth working group)
- Collaboration in a tandem model with an experienced Young Talent specialist (40%)
Your Profile
- Bank apprenticeship with advanced business education or degree (Finance/Business Administration); trainer certificate advantageous
- Sound banking industry knowledge as well as good understanding of the Swiss and Liechtenstein education systems
- Experience in designing and managing training or talent programmes (ideally also in the graduate environment)
- Enjoyment in working with young people and a sensitivity to their different developmental needs
- Strong communication, presentation and coaching skills (including conducting feedback, performance, development and conflict discussions)
- Empathetic, committed and flexible personality with a hands-on mentality combined with the ability to work strategically and conceptually
- High sense of responsibility and the ability to prioritise topics, develop bold solutions and make independent decisions
- Confident German and English language skills
