The SVA BL is the competence centre for social insurances in the canton of Basel-Landschaft. As an independent public-law enterprise, it fulfils a legal mandate and contributes to social security for the population and the economy of the canton.

For the Career Counselling team / Integration Department of the IV office, we are looking for a motivated and established personality to start immediately or by arrangement as

Specialist for IV Career Counselling (80 - 100 %)

What you will achieve

• Advising and supporting young people and adults with physical and psychological impairments in career orientation

• Gathering the performance profile of the insured persons through expert assessment

• Implementing integration plans with the affected persons

• Preparing reports and analysing medical documents as well as enjoying administrative tasks

• Conducting the complex IV procedure in cooperation with schools, employers, institutions, doctors and other external and internal specialist offices

What you bring

• University degree in psychology or a related field and/or several years of professional experience in advising and supporting people with impairments

• Further training in career, study and vocational counselling is an advantage

• Knowledge of the social insurance system

• Very good German skills in spoken and written form; French is an advantage

• Car driving licence with car or Mobility subscription as well as residence in the region

• Self-responsibility, good work organisation and team orientation

• Enjoyment of customer contact
