Senior Cloud Platform & DevOps Specialist (m/f/d)

Role:
Central platform components do not run stably on their own; they need someone who understands and further develops them. This is exactly where your work as a Senior Cloud Platform & DevOps Specialist begins. With solid experience in Kubernetes and OpenShift, you drive the modernisation of existing toolchains and maintain build, test, and release processes at a high level. You keep an eye on security and compliance as well as the needs of the development teams who rely on your support with containerisation and deployment. Technical intuition and an eye for pragmatic solutions distinguish you.
Responsibilities:
You take responsibility for the operation and further development of platform components such as container registry, monitoring, and OpenShift in on-premise operation
You design standardised build, test, and release processes and drive their further development
You gradually modernise existing DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
You detect incidents early and proactively ensure stability and good performance
Additionally, you secure governance, security, and compliance requirements in the deployment environment
You also support development teams in containerising, deploying, and operating their applications
Qualifications:
You have completed a degree in computer science, engineering, or a comparable education
You bring several years of practical experience as a DevOps engineer or in a comparable role
Solid knowledge of container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift distinguishes you
You are familiar with CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD, Tekton, or TeamCity as well as Git
You have experience securing container registries and with monitoring solutions such as the ELK stack
Additionally, you communicate clearly and appropriately for the audience and have good German and English skills
