What you can contribute

• Lead complex projects involving several offices in the field of childhood and youth policy, such as the current National Strategy project on childhood and youth policy, and develop strategic and political decision-making bases
• Organise the monitoring of the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and coordinate collaboration with federal services, cantons and civil society organisations involved
• Handle parliamentary interventions, draft reports and files for the Federal Council, and respond to citizens' questions
• Represent the office within specialised committees, project groups and parliamentary commissions
• Examine requests for financial aid related to the "Protection and Rights of the Child" credit

What makes you unique

• Master's degree in law or political or social sciences
• In-depth knowledge of childhood and youth policy and children's rights, comprehensive understanding of socio-political issues
• Proven experience in managing complex projects
• Strong preference for autonomous work and interdisciplinary team collaboration
• Active knowledge of two official languages, very good knowledge of English

The Childhood and Youth Issues sector of the FOSA is the Confederation's specialised service for childhood and youth policy. It brings together the various actors of this policy around the same table. As a scientific collaborator within a motivated team, you will lead or support political files and write contributions on issues related to childhood and youth policy.
