Stable systems, secure networks, and satisfied users do not arise by themselves. This is exactly where your work as a System Engineer (focus on Microsoft & Security) comes in. Between cloud administration, network operation, and security topics, you will find a broad range of tasks that require constant development. You are the first point of contact for technical questions and at the same time part of a team working together on the digital future. Responsibilities:
You take over the administration and support of the Microsoft 365 environment with Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, and Active Directory including identity and access management
You monitor endpoint, security, backup, and virtualisation solutions and continuously develop them in collaboration with external IT partners
You drive the network infrastructure based on Cisco technologies forward together with the team and ensure reliable operation
You contribute technical know-how in digitalisation and infrastructure projects and actively shape the further development of IT processes and service management platforms
As a technical contact in 2nd level support, you resolve faults, advise employees, and coordinate complex cases with manufacturers and partners in 3rd level support
Additionally, you take care of technical documentation, standards, and occasionally take on tasks in the hotline, support, and on-call service
Qualifications:
You have completed training in the IT field or have an equivalent qualification, complemented by at least three years of experience in system technology or system engineering
Sound knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune, and Exchange Online characterises your profile
You have already gained experience in client and endpoint management; knowledge of VMware, Veeam, and network technologies rounds off your profile
Cisco network technologies are familiar to you, or you are motivated to deepen your knowledge in this area
You are interested in current developments in the security environment, such as Microsoft Defender, and like to stay up to date
Furthermore, you convince with analytical thinking, a solution-oriented working style, as well as confident German and solid English skills, both spoken and written
