The Austrasse residential home offers 18 adult women and men with mild cognitive or physical disabilities and/or psychological impairments a supported living place and a home with the aim of a high quality of living and life across two residential groups.

Your Role

You will independently take on group responsibility and support people with disabilities in their daily living. The focus for you is the uniqueness and the right to self-determination of the individuals, taking into account their individual needs and the support mandate. Key worker duties are an important part of your daily work. This includes developing service plans and personal development goals, implementing them in everyday life, and conducting key worker discussions. Additionally, interdisciplinary exchange with relatives and third parties as well as practical instruction of students are part of your varied responsibilities.

Your Profile

• Completed training as a social pedagogue HF/FH
• Professional experience in working with people with disabilities and/or psychiatric impairments
• Innovative and solution-oriented working style
• Team-oriented and empathetic personality
• Willingness to work irregular hours, usually one weekend per month
