Scientist as Head of Services

Your tasks

• Management of the newly created Services department including the areas of Secretariat, Building Services and IT.
• Strategic further development of administrative processes, infrastructure and IT landscape, interface to the specialist departments
• Support for the Cantonal Chemist and specialist departments as well as independent food law assessments and management of food law procedures
• Public relations and media work

Your profile

• University degree in natural sciences or food technology, ideally with experience in food law or administrative processes
• Versatile organisational talent with an affinity for technical topics
• Leadership experience
• Strong interest in food law issues
• Team player with a desire to shape, structured and precise thinking and working style and a high awareness of quality
• Very good oral and written communication skills in German
• Diploma for official food control (DAL) or willingness to obtain this alongside work
