Employee / Staff Member Asylum Care (80-100 %)
Your Tasks
- Independent management of reception and telephone service
- Contact person for asylum seekers and refugees, ensuring communication and orientation
- Reliable incident reporting, journal keeping or reporting
- Provision of 7/24h shift work with surcharge payment and willingness to undertake assignments in various cantonal accommodations if required
- Active promotion of respectful and peaceful interaction in the accommodation as well as initial integration steps
- Ensuring safety for the public, employees and asylum seekers and refugees
- Intervention in conflicts and crisis intervention through de-escalation, taking self-protection into account
- Compliance with and implementation of house rules and other regulations, especially in the areas of safety and hygiene through rounds, conversations and inspections
- Perform cleaning work in protected areas
Your Profile
- Apprenticeship or equivalent training of at least 3-4 years
- Specialist further training
- Good IT application skills (Word, Excel)
- 3 years of professional experience
- Loyalty and transparency
- Respect for human dignity and integrity regardless of origin, religion or gender etc.
- Maintaining professional closeness and distance
- Good oral and written German skills (at least level B2)
- English skills
- Other foreign language skills are an advantage
