About the job
The La Pouponnière Foundation and the Shelter in Lausanne aim to work in favour of children and more particularly young children and their families, notably by welcoming them within the framework of its nine institutions: five child life centres (CVE), two emergency residential homes, the Mother-Child Educational Reception (AEME), the Meeting Space Service Unit (UPER).

Tasks and responsibilities
- Ensure the protection and well-being of a group of 10 to 12 children, aged 0 to 6 years and placed by the DGEJ or SCTP
- Welcome and support the children in their daily lives
- Observe and assess parental skills; ensure the relationship with parents regarding the daily care of the child
- Observe and assess the development of the children and the parent-child dynamics
- Work in a network with various partners
Profile sought
- Diploma as a social educator, childhood educator, or other Bachelor or Master related to the field of activity
- Proven and recognised experience in educational work in residential care with children and their families
- Ability to work in a team and network in an emergency reception context
- Good personal organisation, autonomy, analytical and synthesis skills, excellent adaptability and priority management
- Excellent listening skills and empathy
- Driving licence
- Clean criminal record
