Role:
Security today determines whether software runs reliably. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you connect development, operations, and security in an agile environment. You build secure pipelines, harden applications, and keep an eye on container environments. You will have the opportunity to develop further in areas such as secure coding and OT network security. An experienced team will support you step by step.
Responsibilities:
You build and operate secure CI/CD pipelines using common build, repository, and code analysis tools.
Furthermore, you secure Java-based applications, databases, and Docker environments, for example through dependency management, security scans, and access control.
You implement protective measures for IT/OT interfaces, for example for common industrial protocols in warehouse controls.
Vulnerability management, monitoring, and incident response are also part of your daily routine, supported by modern log and visualisation tools.
You work closely with development, product management, support, and the central security team.
In addition, you document processes, automate compliance checks, and continuously improve deployment procedures.
Qualifications:
You have completed a degree in computer science or a comparable education, ideally related to IT/OT security.
Alternatively, you bring initial professional experience in the DevOps environment or in logistics systems.
Basic knowledge of Spring Boot, relational databases as well as Linux and Windows Server distinguishes you.
Topics such as secure coding, identity and access management (IAM), and network security interest you.
Analytical thinking and enjoyment of working in agile teams are among your strengths.
In addition, you communicate confidently in German and manage well in English.
